Tarot Readings
Draw from the full 78-card deck — single card, three-card spreads, or the Celtic Cross — with interpretations that speak to your question, not a generic script.
Tarot is a 78-card symbolic system that has been used for reflection since the 18th century: 22 Major Arcana cards tracing the great arcs of a life — beginnings, upheavals, integration — and 56 Minor Arcana cards in four suits (Wands, Cups, Swords, Pentacles) mapping the textures of everyday experience.
A reading is not fortune-telling. Each card is a mirror held at a particular angle: the Tower asks what structure is ready to fall, the Six of Pentacles asks where giving and receiving are out of balance. The value is in what you recognize when you look.
GemZen gives you the complete deck with upright and reversed meanings, classic spreads, multiple deck art styles — including vintage Rider–Waite–Smith scans — and interpretations that weave the cards you drew into the question you actually asked.
How it works in GemZen
1
Ask your question
Bring a real question — or draw open-ended. Choose a single card for a daily focus, three cards for past/present/future, or the ten-card Celtic Cross for a full picture.
2
Draw the cards
Shuffle and draw from the full 78-card deck, upright and reversed, in the deck style you prefer — from 1909 vintage scans to modern art decks.
3
Sit with the reading
Each card arrives with its meaning in position, and the reading is interpreted as a whole — then saved to your history so you can return to it as things unfold.

Common questions
Is the tarot reading free?
Yes — you can create a free GemZen account and draw readings at no cost. Deeper spreads, AI-personalized interpretation and unlimited history come with paid plans.
What deck does GemZen use?
The classic 78-card Rider–Waite–Smith structure: 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana across Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles. You can choose between vintage 1909–1920s scans and modern art styles.
What do reversed cards mean?
A reversed card is usually read as the same energy turned inward, blocked, or in excess — not simply "bad". GemZen includes distinct upright and reversed meanings for every card.
Can tarot predict the future?
We treat tarot as a tool for reflection and pattern-recognition, not prediction. Readings are for insight and entertainment — not medical, legal or financial advice.
